Next week I am heading over to a large junkyard and I'm looking for seats and a few other things. But I have recently learned that I could get a RKE module from an older Blazer and program a new remote to it. I'm just not sure where it is. I've heard it's by the brake pedal, so is it above it or something? What does it look like and how do I get to it? Any help is greatly appreciated because I really want keyless entry.

 

Another forum says it is in a black box mounted under the steering column with 7mm bolts
