Hope you can give me some ideas. My '99 4X4 looks as if the back end of the truck is lower than the front. It looks like it is always going up a hill. I haven't had a chance to look at this yet but could you give me some ideas on where to start.
Thanks.
Thanks.

yeah, loose or broken leaf springs will cause the rear end to sag.

I had a look at the leaf springs and all seems fine. I keep hearing about lifting the torsion bars to raise the front end a bit. I am wondering if this may have been done before I got the Blazer. What is that all about??

2possible problems could be that the rear springs have sagged or the torsion bars have been adjusted.
Take some measurements on level ground and let us know if it really is low.

if u or whoever owned the truck first hauled a trailer then ur leaf springs could have flattened out. or maybe alot of friends on long road trips could do it too. like it happened to me.
now u could find a shop that would re-arch ur springs or pickup new ones for around 80-100 bucks, i think its jc whiney that has that price but i could be wrong.

i believe it is ground to frame, behind the front wheel and in front of the rear wheel. have urself a ruler that is marked down to the 16th of a inch and take a close accurate look. and its ok if the back is slightly higher, it compensates for any weight that might be loaded. but u dont want it to be too high or else it will eat away at ur front brakes and would suck around corners.
