Default will 2 pison calipers retrofit onto single piston caliper knuckles?

i was looking up parts for my '97 and autozone shows both a 2 piston and single piston front caliper. i know i have the single piston, but it would be great if i could just bolt on a 2 piston caliper without any other changes (such as swapping out the knuckle) is this do-able or am i wishing for a easy upgrade thats more involved than just selecting a different cailper than what it came with? its a '97 4 door 4x4.

The knuckle is different between the two.

General consensus is that the work/money involved with this kind of a swap isn't worth the gains that result.
