Default Wind noise...

Since ive owned my jimmy for a few years now ive had this nagging issue of loud wind noise coming from my drivers side door. During highway speeds i cannot here the person in the passenger seat talk if they dont raise their voice. Even with the music volume up there is still so much noise coming in. It now seems to be starting in the passernger side as well and would like to get this issue fixed asap. Also when there is fine snow outside some of it will start to flow inside through the same stream that the wind noise is coming through. I have bought new door pins but this never really seemed to help. How do I go about solving this annoying issue?

I'm pretty sure it's because the old pins and bushings were so worn out that it key holed the hinge itself. I have the same problem with mine even after the fresh pins/bushings.

This is very typical of worn hing pins/bushings gone way too far beyond needing replacement. To check for worn hinge pins/bushings, open the door & lift up on the back edge while watching the hinge pin area. If you see any play at all, the bushings are gone. Hopefully the hinge itself isn't worn as that would require either removing the hinge (cut/drill/grind/etc) & welding on a new one, or building the hinge bore back up by welding it and then re-bore/ream the hole to match the rest of the holes keeping everything properly aligned.

The above answers are most likely correct, unless the unit came from a desert area or was involved in a wreck and the weatherstrip channel not repaired well, check the rubber(which you already have, right?) If it is the hinge-shop around!-or do it yourself! I have found competent machine shops that can solve this in 2 hours for about $100-Don't take it to a repair shop for this job unless you want to pay! Let us know!
