Cool windshied fluid trouble

2001 Chevy/Blazer 4Dr. Two times rear washer hose came disconnected re connected and taped. now! no wash coming out of rear jets, motor working , front spray is working ,only when the reservoir is full ,now the reservoir is empty after one day checked out the rear window panel inside all is good and dry
does anybody out there know how/where the washer hose runs left side right side in the side panel under the rug? where is the lost water going? Is there some kind of Schematic that shows hose hose routes thanks wamble

This is exactly what happened to me. There was a split in my hose where it comes through the firewall. If you pull back the carpet by the pedals (you may have to remove the kick panel but it's not hard) you should see the line coming through. If the reservoir is empty, fill it up and run the rear wiper motor and watch the line to see if it leaks. Be sure to check where it goes into the firewall from the engine compartment also. My leak was coming from inside the grommet so I had to move the grommet out of the way, patch the line, and slide it back in place.
Good luck!

Default Windshied Fluid Trouble Number 2

Thank you for your comment "Red96" I and my wife went to look per your recommendation everything seems to be dry and in order. However! we put card board under the Blazer and observed water dripping slowly behind the right wheel it appears coming from the rear bumper. Is it the direction of travel and not the leak source? ,We accessed the rear right side cargo hold where the 'Net Star'
transmitter is could not go anyfarther no screws bolts to remove that were visible. are all those plastic panels held on by snap in clips?

Question I ask myself!!! With limited income do I seek professional help or can some out there in God's country tell me is the hose in the rear right cargo hold ? so I could go on?

I can look tomorrow for you to see where the line runs if you have a lift hatch... There are two lines off of the window washer reservoir. The upper one runs to your front nozzles via a T and the second runs through the firewall under the carpet or kick panels on the driver side into the driverside rear corner before going out into the rear hatch... If your line is intact, There is a check valve (24024822) at the rear that will force your lines off the connector when it goes bad that maybe the problem you are having since you had to reconnect and tape your lines back onto the connector. Also make sure your nozzles arent clogged. If the hose comes off the connector it will leak inside the panel which can make it appear to run out where you are seeing it. But like I said if you have a lift hatch I can give you more specifics tommorrow since I have to replace my rear check valve which was doing the same thing.

Kat; It is supposed to be the TOP pump for rear window, Bottom pump front window. In this way, the more important window get's cleaned longer.

Does (24024822) include hose? Reason I asked, I checked with GM two weeks ago. The guy looked up the check valve and told me he could order it, it would come with a hose and it was $17. Is that the right part?
