Angry Winter starting blues

Ok I have a 2001 Blaze 4x4, 4dr. Last night the truck started up fine at work and drove home fine. Today about 13 hours later it will not start at all. It was out side in 19 degree weather with a wind chill of about 0. I hit it with some starting fluid...no dice it won't fire. It will seem to catch at times but not fully fire. I checked all the fuses and they were fine. Checked all ignition connections and they seemed ok. It has a new battery in it 3 days ago. Since I bought this truck a year and a half ago I have hardly had to be under the hood except for regular maintenance, so this is a bit suprising.

Any other suggestions?

I would start by checking the fuel pump......Or fuel filter

I don't think it is a fuel supply problem. The truck won't start with starting fluid. Now if it did run on the fluid and then died I would definitely agree that fuel pump or filter would be a factor.

Well, lets see next I would check for Spark. Pull one of your spark plug wires and have someone crank it over. Put a screwdriver on the plug wire and see if you get a spark to jump to the screwdriver. If not...Then start looking at the coil and distributor.

A fuel pressure and leak down test may still be beneficial. You may have a leak internal to the intake that is causing a rich condition. If that were the case, starter fluid would only make it worse.

And definitely check for spark. An actual spark tester isn't that expensive and can keep you from getting zapped. The ignition systems on these trucks pack a punch!!

Fuel pressure test came back fine. After freezing my narglies off for 2 hours I went and hijacked a friends Raptor OBD computer. Mass Airflow Sensor was shot. I assume it kept creating the rich mix that wouldn't allow for it to kick. So after 50 dollars in cab fare to and from town. And 140 bucks to Scrotumzone. It is now running fine. Thanks for everyone's help. Merry Christmas to all.
