hey, i just put new wipers on mine and the passenger one doesnt sit properly either. Last 2" or so don't touch the windshield.. I figured it was just the cheap winter blades I bought.

my drivers side is fine, just passenger side. I noticed that the one I changed off was a smaller one, (18") i'm just gonna throw another small one on in the spring when I no longer require winter blades.

well the neo form blades when you take them out of the box make a large curve, that adapts to your window(so its an even wip((no streaks))), so these blades are more resient then normal ones and require more tension

i have rain-x wipers like that. instead of seperate hinges and pieces, its just one long blade that is super curved. i also have the exact same problem as mentioned above... the last 2"-3" of (pass. side) wiper dont actually touch the windshield. idk if its from the sharp curve of the windshield at the edge or what but its kind of annoying

thats why im wondering if we release the tension, then the wiper will be able to get that area, bexasue there is too much preassure on them, i think it forces them up a little bit

i think thats the reason their curved so much... to create pressure which keeps them glued to the glass
if you release tension, they might not perform as well as they do now
