I just picked up a 99 Blazer 4x4 and aside from some serious squeaking panels fixes it's seems like a decent vehicle. Just have a question about the wiper speed. "HI" setting is just pathetic, is this normal or indication of bad wiper motor. I fear for the next heavy rainfall, and dread the upcoming winter if this is as fast as my wipers will go. My Grand Caravan, on "HI", I worry the wipers are going to fly off they are so quick. I want my Blazer's to be the same.

No problem I'm sure someone will be along with suggestions. Also try searching the forum for other people who have had similar issues. I've never had issues with mine so other than the video I got nothing to offer lol!

 

My wipers when I got the truck were extremely pathetic, high was like a sad dying low, low was about useless and delay was a waste of effort. I originally thought motor as well and fortunately have some spare pieces laying around so I plugged a known good one in, without having to go through pulling the old one out, same thing. I ended up tapping in a good ground (just tapped a quick wire off the existing one to the one firewall ground post) and made re whole system like new.
