Question Wire question 1996 blazer

Ok heres my problem I had to remove my distributor because of a bad oil sending unit sensor.
Near where the distributor plug is a single blue wire with a plug in on it.Its at the back of the firewall.
Where does it go?

Question

Heres a pic of the wire
Ive also looked everywhere for any kind of sensor within reach of this wire to no avail.Theres nothing I can find. Also since these engines are timed by placement of the distributor I dont beleive there is a knock sensor.

Knock sensor on 96 is located on the top rear of the engine, near the oil pressure sending unit. It uses a single dark blue wire.
