I`m guessing you have a blazer? You may have the wire connections already on the back of the truck tied to your trailer hitch if you already have that? look underneath the truck on the pass side rear near the hitch the wires may be taped up with black elec tape.. Try that and we`ll go from there..

Ok, time to make your own wiring harness!! you can splice right into the wires coming out the back of your taillights.. Lemme track down my list of the wire colors and i`ll get back to ya.. Is the trailer wired already? and if so how many pins on the contact plug? 4 pin 7 pin can ya post a pic of the plug incase your not sure what i mean?

Have you laid on the ground, and really looked up in there? I'd owned my 95 for years, and had no idea that there was a factory plug, just taped up there to the other wiring. I bought all the stuff, then discovered it already had it!

I always wondered if I had those wires myself since my 98 didn't come with the tow package. Guess next time I change my oil and the car's on the lift I'll have to look!
