so i get home from college today and im all excited to go n drive... i go to start it up...click, click, click, click! ok so i call my buddy that dropped me off to come back n jump it...doesnt start...hmmm? ok, so i go to his house we grill some hotdogs up, eat...go back to my house try pullin it with the tractor while i pop the clutch...doesnt start...hmmm? this is gettin worse... because it started once when i popped the clutch then died...ok so what the hell...ill jump it again, hook it up...nothing...move the ground to another spot..VROOM! thank god...so i let it idle 10 mins then went and got a battery came home and turned it off and im just procrastinating now lol

that always sucks. maybe you should purchase a battery charger for when your not using the truck and it's sitting a long while. when you return home just throw it on that for a bit and then less troubles?

Check the positive post on the battery. If it's an original AC Delco, you may have corrosion problems from the inside out on the positive post (why... don't ask me). AC Delco's are known for this. Had the same thing happen to me and the positive post literally fell out of the case when I went to remove the battery to have it tested.

Get the battery tested first (autozone provides free test battery in or out of car) if you moved the ground, the battery might not be shot (yummhotdoggs)

no i just needed a new battery...i woulda checked the one i had that i thought was dead but its one of those "maintenance free" batteries and i didnt have anywhere to turkey baste the juices from....haha its all good now tho
