won't start

Default won't start

hi i have a 98 blazer 4dr 4wd i went thru a flooded street the other day and 20 mins later my truck started to pop and back fire then stalled waited 30 mins the truck finally started and ran like crap for a few mins now the monster snow strom i tried to move my truck and snow got on the left side of the motor and it popped and back fired and chocked out now won't start ant ideas

Do you think the motor sucked in water? If so, you may have hydro-locked a cylinder and possibly bent a connecting rod.

well first thing i did was checked the oil for water and it was fine i drove it after the flood all day it was fine and on sat it was fine

Remove the distributor cap and see what it looks like inside.

i am going to check the dist cap and wires maybe if i can get to a store in this snow i can change them

The reason I mention the distributor cap is that water may have gotten up into the cap and is causing a misfire.
