Zero fuel pressure???
So this morning my '01 Blazer (Trailblazer ed) wouldn't turn over. It did this a little over a week ago, but as soon as I tried to start it the second time it fired up, so I thought little of it.
This morning however, no dice. Same tonight. I was able to get a little squirt of fuel of out of the test port this morning, but I rented a test gauge from O'Reilly's to check true pressure.
The gauge sits at 0 psi, but fuel will again be present at the test port if I remove the gauge and depress the relief pin.
So...enough pressure to prime fluid and give a little squirt, but still 0 psi? Is that possible?
It would certainly explain the complete lack of turning over, since none of the fuel injectors would open, but I would expect to see at least some pressure.
My experience is limited with the Schrader valve so I'm going to ask a stupid question, should there be anything present in the fitting on the tester to depress the center pin in the test port on the rail?
Is there something I'm missing? The filter was replaced this spring.
Thanks for any help!!

Yeah, that's what it's starting to look like. I had a fuel filter laying around so I swapped it just to rule out a plugged one. No change.
Think I could get it turned over and running with some carb fluid in the intake in the morning to get it to my shop 50mins away?
I took it 6hrs to the Packer game last weekend and back, through stop and go traffic, no problems. Although it did feel sluggish when accelerating on a highway on ramp. And sometimes through the summer it felt like it was missing, but not really as hard as a miss, just a slight pulse (no codes). Perhaps that was nothing, but everything gets magnified in hindsight.

If you had at least a little pressure, maybe that would work, but with 0psi I really doubt it'll keep running after the carb fluid is burned. You can try banging on the top of the tank to see if the pump will kick on though.
