My 2002 ZR2 check engine light was off. Two monitors were inc....Catalyst and Evap. Did the GM reset drive cycle a few times. Check engine light came on. All monitors were completed...code P0446 came on. So I cleared all codes. What do I need to do next? All help and suggestions are appreciated. Have a gr8 day.

Google does great to help with simple issues like this, and their should be lots of you tube videos on it. If I was a betting man I’d be inspecting your fuel fill neck, Ifnits rusted out it could be the problem.

I have looked on the inet...these are the different responses. Has anyone tried any of this and had any sucess?
How do I get my Chevy evap monitor ready?

Apply and hold brake pedal, and shift to Drive for automatic, or apply clutch pedal for manual and operate the vehicle within the following conditions for 2 minutes: Depress the accelerator pedal until TP Sensor angle is more than 2 percent. MAF signal between 15-30 g/s. RPM steady between 1200-2000 RPM.Feb 18, 2019

How to clear an evap system monitor?
To get your EVAP monitor to complete, you need to perform a proper drive cycle. This involves a cold start, steady driving at 30-40 mph, and smooth deceleration. Repeat the cycle a few times to allow the system to reset and complete its checks.Sep 23, 2024

How long does it take for an evap monitor to reset?
Resetting an EVAP sensor usually takes one complete drive cycle, which can last anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour, depending on driving conditions.Sep 23, 2024
