I have a 96 Blazer and I've tried to pull it out but it doesn't budge, it feels like I'm going to break it. Am I not pulling hard enough?

I can tell you from personal experience that it does just "yank" out. I have done this very procedure myself on at least 6 times in recent memory.

The fact that you are so frustrated at your truck that it comes out as an attack on this forum and its members means you need to take a step back and cool down. Or else you may find yourself looking for advice elsewhere.

Now if you really are having that much trouble with it, you may want to follow proper forum procedure and create a thread of your own in the proper section. This thread is for discussing the article in the first post and ways to make it better. It is not to discuss your inability to complete the task. If, after you have completed the repair, you see some way to make this article better, that would be appropriate material for this thread. Further questions should be asked in the appropriate tech section.

Thank you.

Uploaded the pictures to the forum rather than the OPs original free Photobucket account which no longer supports hot-linking like it originally did when it was created.
