I agree Ive converted my 233 tcase to a manual.

Lots of pictures in my build thread somewhere

Just done mine loving it. no need to remove the yoke tho for sure. you can take the three screws off the side that hold the incoder itself which is just the black plastic part and move it a little bit up and away and it gives you enough clearance for the rest of the motor assembly to be removed. However, the drive shaft not being removed while doing this may present a problem but I wouldn't know cause I just took mine out so I wouldn't have to deal with it in the way. I welded a couple 9/16 inch wrenches together for my shifter handle and yse a 9/16 allen wrench which I store in the console for the shifting handle on top of that so it only has to stick through the floor a couple inches. It's hardly noticeable.

Default Cable?

Has anyone thought about making the transfer case cable shifter, Not looking to reinvent the wheel if someone else has a better way to do it?
Just looking for a way to go completely manual,

Thanks for suggestions.

Anyone have any Idea how to connect a cable directly to the axle shift at the front differential ? I know that's how the new Posi-lock cable works but, I can't see spending that kind of money for a simple cable.
