Sorry, I mean the driver side. It's more to the side, as yours is the front.

I wish this was how clean my engine bay was....

I believe with relocating the fuse box to where the air box is, would give clearance to go with 90% of your write up. Nice work.

DonL, the fuse box would definitely have to be relocated for it to work on the later setup. Not sure how hard that would be. Facorty harnesses can be lengthened with extra wire and butt splices, but that's a long slow job.

Or, maybe there's a snorkel application where "bottom" part goes more toward the front of the truck?

Either way, if anyone tackles it, I hope they document and post a write up. The more info like this out there, the better for all of us!

Don't forget to do something about your distributor before you go testing it out

I think I mentioned it in my build thread, but for the ignition my plan is to pack the plug wire boots full of dielectric grease, and silicone the dist cap to the dist body. I've read you need to somehow vent the dist cap if this is done. Haven't done the reaserch on that yet

Looks great!
I wish I could justify putting one on...but mine is a daily drivin' city Blazer. Hit mud and trails a couple times a month, if I'm lucky.
Once I find a newer daily, things will get fun.

Couple times a month is more often than i get out! The nearest off road park is about 80 miles from my house
