I don't think the width of the front would do that, it may make it look that way (optical illusion).

It's possible your leaf springs have gone weak, or (depending on how long you've had the truck) the front was cranked by the previous owner higher than the front and he/she was too cheap to get shackles to level it out. If you want to level it just loosen the bolts and bring the front down the desired amount.

Or you can just leave it, your preference.

yea crankin your torshion bar puts alot more stress . just ask my blazer. today it broke an upper ball joint right in 2 and cleared through 4 lanes of traffic on a divided highway. ask it if it has more stress runnin on 3 wheels instead of 4.

Wow, glad to see you're still with us. This is why my Blazer's at stock height, GM has it set there for a reason IMO.

ok not sure where this question came from by my brains telling me to ask, in turning the bolt clock wise does that....hmm how to phrase it...does it bull the body closer and ...oh god now i'm confused...what does turning the bolt ACTUALLY do..if i turned it 4x's...what would i notice different..if ANY thing?

Turning the adjuster bolt clockwise increases tension on the torsion bar and increases front chassis ride height. Counter clockwise decreases ride height. If the adjuster is moved, it will affect ride height and wheel alignment. By turning it 4 revolutions, you've messed up your alignment...guaranteed! Best to take it to an alignment shop and have them measure and adjust ride height and then align the front end.

4 turns will net you about 3/4" of additional height. Your front end alignment will be so minimally affected that you will not even notice... as long as it was good in the first place.

not gonna do it was just curious is all i leave the mechanical stuff *yes even turning a bolt 4x's) to my mechanic...he's the one with the knowledge in that dept i'm just the one who gets the truck muddy and sits pretty in it lol
