Greetings! I have98 blazer 4x4 vortec v6 with a crapped out heater core. Thought I had the problem beat when i flushed out the coolant and had heat for about 3 weeks. But now i get the tell tale mist and coolant smell from the vents in the cab. Is there any way to get a blue print or an exploeded view if the the dash to see just how the core is removed. Being a weekend mechanic and just a bit of a penny pincher id like to do the job myself. It sure beats an $800.00 repair bill. Any links to websites where i can get step by step would be awsome. And any tips you fine people may have to make this job easy would be good too. thanks and im glad i found this site.
