lol I wouldn't mind having an h3 since those are pretty much the colorado suv not the trailblazer. plus for some reason I've always liked suv's with the tire on the back

It seems no matter what I do there will need to be some fabrication involved. The H3 seems to be a little more stout than the jeep though. They are around the same price.

I forgot about the H3, you could just grab the OEM bracket and bolt it on to your tailgate. You'd need some sort of prop rod or some much stronger strut/shocks to support it while its up. Stronger shocks would put a lot of pressure on the gate when its closed though.

If u have a drop gate that wouldnt work

Hey guys,
Picked up a tire rack from the junkyard for $20 yesterday.

(hope the pictures work)
Painted it today.....
Really hoping to mount it tomorrow. I've been studying this thread so I'm getting ready for a hellish day of tiny spaces. I'll take pictures and post them. Hopefully this thread revives a little so tomorrow when I'm running into trouble i can get some help.
