Also, does your guy's rattle at all? I mean mine closes up really tight, the bolts on the sides are pretty tight but i just hear a rattle now. Could it be the liftgate? I notice my liftgate has a little play when all the way up (side to side)

Mine makes noist at the hinge...i tried to tighten up the pins but its still there time to time.

Yeah my tail gate rattles a lot when i hit bumps now. I was thinking about wrapping tape around the bar that the gate locks to and hope that makes it tighter.

I developed a rattle/creak in the latch for the rear glass (I have the tailgate version) a few weeks after finishing the install. I tightened the latch, which worked for a month, and then the noise came back. I wrapped the loop on the glass with hockey tape about 5 months ago and haven't heard a sound from there since.

yup....or duct tape (what doesnt it fix)
mine is a noise coming from bottom bushing...have learned to live with it.

Mine rattles from the exact same spot. I didn't support it enough while mounting the latch/striker plate and I think the weight of the carrier left slack in the lower bushing.

Yep thats where mine rattles aswell. Oh well.
