im trying to add 2 more solos to my setup. my merlin will run down to .5ohms safely for daily. so that should be around 3600watts cont, lol. cant wait!
scratch that idea. in theory i should get 3600-4k watts, but in actuallity i wont get muc more than what i got now (according to the dealer who sold me it). so **** that. i dont have the dough for 2 amps and 2 more subs now.

the idea i am going to use is a set of 2000 watt amps pushing all 2000 at 2 ohms each - 2 T2 subs on each pointed down into a floor box, with each speaker area at about 1.5 ft cubed, slot ported on the bottom of the box at about 48 hz with the 2 rear sub ports facing back and the 2 front facing the sides. im always building new box designs and playing with directions of frequiencies. Its great because i can do more with less that way. one of my friends hardest hitting systems was from some el cheapo wal-mart stuff that i set up for him. I will soon be joining a spl team and getting into comps. Any advice for a newb to the pro scene?

There are companies out there that make brackets to mount 2 alternators. Just gotta search online. But I think the way to go is one High output alternator. I got a 275 amp alternator.....its amazing.
