1997 Blazer - Installing an auxillary audio jack for an iPod
Hey guys, I just got a 1997 Blazer and I love it. However, I'd really like to be able to listen to my iPod through the stock stereo (everything is stock in the car). I've been searching the internet and luckily I happened upon this knowledgeable forum.
I followed the links some people posted in this thread (https://blazerforum.com/m_127443/tm.htm), and I came up with this product: http://www.pie.net/pie_store/shopexd...d=99&bc=no
Do you think this would work on my stock stereo?
If you haven't already noticed, I'm a big newbie at this entire modding business. However, I'm very willing to learn in order to get the job done. I build computers and I am fairly familiar with electronics, which will hopefully help lessen the learning curve.
I'm looking to spend around 50 bucks to get the job done. Any comments on whether or not this is possible? Thanks for your time.

If you want to keep it stock, the cheapest option is one of those charger/transmitter things. Otherwise, get a new deck with a dock connector. It's what I did, and it was TOTALLY worth it.
