This is a build ive been workin on the last 2 weeks. I got rid of my 15'' RE Audio SX, and am upgrading to (2) DC Lvl4 15's w/Lvl5 coils. Box is 8 cubes @ 32hz, design via Undadog at caraudioclassifieds.org. Not sure on the amp yet, looking for a clean 2krms at a decent price. My Hifonics 1206d will hopefully be sold in the next 2 days so ill have some money to start looking for a new amp. I sold my stinger sp800 battery local, just picked up a kinetik hc2000 for the rear, i have stock alt and a redtop up front, 2 runs of 4 gauge to the back (soon to be replaced by a single 0 gauge run). thanks, im running it at 1 ohm, not sure of amp yet. im not trying to spend a lot of money but the sundown amps are sure nice

 

i built a box very similar to that one for my old memphis setup. had 2k going to each and pull at 149.7 at a dB Drag event.

 

daym, what was your box tuned to? im trying to get 145 daily out of this under 40hz, my 15'' SX was in 31hz daily, 4 cubes for fun on the termlab i scored 139.9. that sub in 2.9 @ 43hz i was able to pull 143.6. Ill hafta build a spl box for this and see what it can do. theres a show coming up in april ill see what it does in this 8 cube/32hz box.

 

i was tuned at 35hz...funny thing...the comp was 2 days away, and i needed a box. My buddy built a box out of scrap MDF at his shop. something like 6 cubes. We dropped the woofers in the day of the comp. Zero testing, did a 149.5 on my first run and 149.7 on the second run. it was great lol

Box is finished, has a cool camo look to it
