I Mounted my 4ft whip in the middle of my spare tire holder.
BTW i have a 103in whip and for the right price i would let it go.

ok got a few minutes to start on the re-design of the CB mount.
made the top plate
on Monday I'm gonna to bend the 1" flat bar to the mount weld it up and drill the holes to bolt it up and the hole for the Antenna nut.

Its totally done!!! slammed it out today heres the pics and the play by play!!
flat bar bent to curve of bracket:
test fit after welding:
sanded smoothed and painted:
Mounted in place:
finished product:
got the new nut on it after I got home as the painted one was damaged from the old setup from the overhead awning at a Mcdonalds, also got the 102" whip on should have pics tomorrow of it all together.
biggest issue was over coming the Design of the back quarter panel the double walled fender proved to be a royal pain to say the least to get the bolts through the holes and tightened thus why the bolts were pushed through from the back its was pretty much the only way to make it work. but anyway lemme know what you guys think lol

I would suggest acorn nuts for a bit better "finished" look but other than that pretty cool

thats looks badas$ but i'm with blue lol dunno if i could drill through the truck like that lol i tend to keep things on a temp basis so it can all be changed around every so often.
