6x9 speaker spacers for 92 s10 blazer
I have a 1992 s10 blazer 2 door and need a pair of spacers for the rear 6x9 speakers to pull them off of the metal, I would prefer them to look factory or similar so that the truck interior looks factory or clean. Does anyone know where I can find a pair of spacers that have a clean factory appearance? the 6x9s are sony's 4 ways if that makes any difference. 3" mounting depth.

I found a new speaker grill @ crutchfield but it doesn't say anything about spacing

Why not get some 1/2" or 3/4" MDF or birch ply and cut some out yourself? A jigsaw and a steady hand is all you need and you can buy partial sheets of wood at Lowes and Home Depot. The speakers should have came with a cutout template which will make it pretty easy to do then just paint them so they can't be seen behind the factory plastic.

Travis the ones you linked are the same thing that is in my blazer and it looks pretty nice, I almost like the look of it better than stock.

The spacers add 1" of depth for bottom mount speakers. If you have any tweeter protrusion these will not work. I cut the speaker grill off below the ash tray mount and fabricated a plywood spacer for surface mounting my speaker. See Attached Photo

Again, I do not want the speakers visible like that, I want a FACTORY look. I'm gonna try the ones from crutchfield, if they dont work I'll just fabricate a spacer to bring everything out and keep the stock appearance.

Yeah, those covers extend out by 1" if you would like I could possibly get a picture of it later.
