Default 97 blazer amp and sub hook up

I have a 97 s-10 blazer and just bought a Nitro BMW 482 1200 watt amp and a 12 inch kenwood kfc W3012 sub. I want to know if the sub and amp will hook up to the stock head unit? Also would the stock speakers in the door be able to handle the amp?

Yes that amp can hook up to your factory stereo. You'll want to use the hi-level input harness that came with it and splice into your rear speaker wire to hook it up. Since that amp will be pushing that sub you wont be pushing your door speakers with it so you don't have to worry about that.
