Default Added Blue Tooth to Factory Bose System

I purchased a Bluetooth adapter from Discount Stereo. I installed it in my 2000 GMC Jimmy Diamond Edition with Bose and separate CD Changer. CD Changer continues to work as well. This is what I purchased.
A2D-GM1 Music Streaming Module for Select 1995-05 GM with separate player. The Bluetooth adapter stays connected unless you disconnect bluetooth on your phone than the CD Changer functions normally.

This is a cool and clean upgrade. I don't think your post did it justice!

It looks like the module installs using factory type electrical connectors in between the factory extra CD player on the transmission hump and the radio.

Here's the description from the webpage:
Many 1995-05 GM car, trunks and vans in addition to main AM/FM Theftlock radio (top of the dash), may also include a separate player (CD, Tape or CD changer) in lower dash or below climate controls. If yours has a functioning separate player, the A2D-GM1 is for your! The A2D-GM1 module adds music streaming to these vehicles from any capable smartphone, tablet, Echo Dot, kindle etc., and the required separate player (CD, Tape or CD changer), remains connected and functional. This clean solution leaves no wires or clutter on or around the dash and after a quick plug-n-play connection to the 9-pin port on radio, these GM vehicle owners can begin to enjoy music streaming option only available on newer cars. This is the perfect solution for these GM owners looking for wireless connectivity without sacrificing existing audio system.

I also purchased the steering wheel control that will control your smart phone through bluetooth. Volume +/-, Next/Previous Track & Play/Pause, The steering wheel control is very nice to have.

There was plenty of room behind the head unit for the bluetooth dongle.
