Default Amp Instalation

I'm looking for a good place to mount an 9 1/2x10x2 1/2 amp. I'd like to keep it hidden but I can't seem to find enough room anywhere. Any suggestions would be helpful.

well we need to know what model/year blazer you got first. secondly, you may just have to deal with it showing, because ive found it extremely hard to hide amps in blazers without modification/fabrication

I agree with FATRYAN you maybe able to hide them under your seat but then you got to watch out that they dont sufficate the amps when you have the seats down but my idea is to make a false floor and raise it up 4 inches off your floor and then carpet or wrap it in sum leather up2 you how much work your gonna put into it i dont think its a wise idea trying to hide them due to they need cool air to cool down becuase some amps get really hot and may blow parts before the protection kicks in i blew 4 speaker capacitors in my main amp and it still worked but it was overheating and smoking. just a pain to get it fix or if you dont have that option buy another expensive amp

i have the same problem. id like to put it where my jack is but you'll still need some fab. work [:'(] your best bet is prolly to bolt it to the back of the back seats, then it will hide behind your box. and anytime you need to adjust, alls you gotta do is flip down the seat

thats what I did^ on my 97 Blazer, I just bolted it to my seat and the box hid it. on my 87 Blazer I made a false floor that had my amp bolted to it behind the subs(good for shows), or in front depends on where you are looking from- the back of the Blazer by the hatch.
