Amp Woes...SOLVED! Who'da Thought This
So far I've:
-checked the ground
-checked the main lead
-checked the remote lead
-checked all fuses, main lead fuse, distribution block, and external amp fuse
-checked it with another amp that didn't come on (but that amp was damaged anyway)
-tested with my DMM, it reads 12v remote and ground, and 1.09v main lead and ground (12v reading came in with amp hooked up as it was)
-disconnected my x-over which IS powering up, and wired the amp directly to those leads
-opened the amp up, but everything looked brand new on the board
I'm still not getting the amp to power up. Keep in mind, this is the only amp I have hooked to this system, so I can't check it with a component amp. Can anyone think of anything I've overlooked? Would it do me any good to pull my head unit? It seems like I would get a 12v reading when testing the main power line, and ground...but it consistently comes up with 1.09v at the x-over, d-blocks, and amp.
I really appreciate everyone trying to help me. This is what makes the Blazer Forum a great place. Thanks!

first check your ground against your battery. put your DMM on Ohms and run a piece of wire to the amp neg terminal and then touch the end of one test lead to it and the other test lead to the ground. if not below .5. bad ground. check fuse. no, with same line to battery, check remote line and connection for amp to battery. that is a true ground.
Post up your results and I will figure this out.!!

that sucks. thought you said that you had 12v at the amp from the power wire.

Seriously though, it was 12v on the remote line...I was getting nothing from the main lead.
I appreciate everyone's help. BTW, what part of OH are you in? From the "hillbilly" part, I would guess near Wheelersburg.
