Default another aux modification option?

Hey Ya'll, the past couple days a friend an I've been tinkerin with my radio, so far I've worked out the 1/8" jack so I can hook up my phone to the car like this guide

HOW-TO: AUX Port in your OE Delco Stereo! (Picture Heavy) - S-10 Forum

However I want a second input option to use the 'AUX' button.

I have the theftlock radio with cd/aux button like this

I do not have the cd changer but is has the 9 pin plug on the back of the radio.

We found this pin layout for the connector

My friend can solder in some RCA jacks using pins 10, 11, 12 but he is not sure how to make the radio think there is a remote device that is on. He thinks pins 7 or 14 could be an option but doesn't know if its looking for an actual signal, a certain resistance or just voltage.

Has anyone gotten this to work before?

Looking to do this without buying an expensive adapter thing and aftermarket HUs ruin the look of the dash.

That's the plug for the cassette player. It requires an actual signal from the cassette player that can't be easily fooled. People have tapped into the wires for an audio jack but they still needed to have a blank cassette playing to get it to work.
