I'm getting ready to replace the factory radio in my S10 Blazer with something a little more modern.
Does anyone have any good experiences with aftermarket power antennas? If so, got a particular brand and model that would be recommended for my 93 s10 Blazer?

I wouldn't say it is a stupid idea. Just one that isn't brought up around here often...
A quick google search turned up an AC Delco PN 88891020 which looks like it may work.. Shows for 1st gens as well as 2nd gens so it may be a universal fit... It is an expensive little sucker. There are many other results as well.

Ok cool... thanks. I figured all after market power antennas would be universal and didn't think to search for custom ones.
But at that price my mast will be good enough LOL
I just get tired of having to unscrew it when I go through an automatic car wash.

I don't have to unscrew it if I go through a touchless wash, but some automatic washes use large clothes that drag across the car and the mast gets caught in them.
One of the best ones I go to sometimes has an attendant that does nothing but unscrews antennas for the customers, then you have to put it back on yourself afterwards.

The problem with a power antenna is they are usually long and large and there isn't enough room to fit one in the fender of an S truck. My Blazer had some bent up rusted chrome antenna on it and when I went to unscrew it and put a shorty on, the stud broke off flush. I thought about a power antenna but they're all way too big to fit.

What part of it is too big? The motor or something else? I'm thinking of a power antenna myself. There are some power antennas that have flexible bases so you can mount those at an angle.
