Anyone try stealth boxes?

a false floor is where you build a box the same size as the floor but it raises the floor about 4-6 inches. it lets you keep the trunk space side to side but you lose vertical
this is my floor for my amps. sub box on top

So it's just for the amps?
That still leaves the sub box...
I wanted to completely recover the cargo area...
also, our sub/boxes are cousins...
in fact I think it's funny we have similar cars with similar sub/box combo...

i'm in the process of designing one for my trunk to cover the box.
with how mine is set up, my amps still have a good 12-14 inches between them and the back of the seats which is just braced to support the sub box and anything i put back there when i yank the box.

you love laughing at the slip calling our trucks, cars don't you? haha

if you wanna call 'em a car, why not just go buy an old Cavi or something!
it's ok guys, i slipped myself this morning.
was helping out my mechanic buddy @ his shop, doin' a trany service on a mini-van for him. when i was done, i asked him if he wanted me to take the truck outside since the trany service was finished.
of course he goes," you were supposed to tear down the rear diff in that truck, not the trans!"
smart *** was calling me on it, since the pick-up "truck" was still sitting outside.
worst part of it?.............it was a freakin' Odyssey!
good thing this week is half over.
