Default best door speakers?

i was going to replace my door speakers in my 97 blazer 4 door and i was wondering what is a really good sound quality speakers that i can look at buying?

I agree with 4lowlife. MB Quart is a good speaker. You may also consider JL Audio ZR's or XR's

mb quartz, infinity kappa, or kicker. I have kickers all around in my blazer. As well as my srt-4 amped up with a kicker 700.5 and they sound GREAT. The best advice though would be to choose a brand then get yourself a set of components in the front for mids and highs.

how are the quartz DKE 116 speakers? are they good quality? how are alpine speakers too?

the discus series arent that great. look into rainbow, focal, and seas too.

not to big on alpine speakers. there decks as well as eclipse are some of the best.

I love my alpines. They really put out the low notes. Haven't noticed any distortion with them.

alpine has really declined in the past couple years. they used to be great (not necessarily as good as eclipse IMO), but now they are just mediocre.
