Cool Blazer onstar

I have a 2000 4x4 LT blazer with the old onstar that is no longer good, the switch to digtal.

What part(s) would I need to upgrade my old onstar to the newer digtal onstar?

Thanks
Dennis

Default hmm that is a good question

i remeber when they was talking about it. They was switching people over with a new contract or somethig. But I have no idea how much of a drop in replacement it was for the older analog system.

It was about a yr ago, around the same time the TV's switch over. Analog is out and the old onstars will not work (analog) anymore. Its all digtal now I think...
Just wondering what I would need to change out to upgrade it since everything is factory in place, maybe the onstar computer? the Mirror with all the controls on the windsheild? Both?
Thanks for the reply.

No not yet, I thought I would run it by this forum first. By the look of things I guess I will have to call a GM tech, no answers here.

I did not have much trouble using Google for 'Onstar analog to digital conversion' and got plenty of info including this one.

Yep, I did that and plug in my Vin # and my analog onstar cannot be upgraded. Oh well, there goes another rubber tree plant.
