I have a kenwood head unit and i cant seem to find a kit that fits a 97. I found one for a 98 and a 96 but i couldnt find one for 97.If anyone could help me out thanks. Also what is the best way to run the power wire from the battery to the amp in a 97? Thanks.

i had to buy mine off of ebay. and it fits nicely. only thing is when i put my pioneer in it almost doesn't fit cause its a little long, and there isn't a whole lotta room back there. i had rigged a 98+ kit to stay for a long time. i was using a single din. i guess thats what you are using too. as far as the power wire for the amp. i still havn't figured that out. thought about enclosing it in wire loom and running it under the truck.

This is what i did, not sure how safe it is but it's been working for the last....year that i've had my sistem.

I ran the wires under the panels that are under the doors, and ran it under the dash panels and even got it to sit under the rubber piece thats inside the door line without adding any bumps/skips in it, then ran the wire thru the door area (where the doors hinges are!) and behind the front right fender to the battery.

sounds kinda sketchy but ill post pics as soon as i can, it worked great and its 100% safe from the door pinching it and im not even holding it in place with glue or anything.

Default Running the power wire

I ran my power wire through the radio ant. gourmet. Its located under the dash on the passenger floor board. From there I ran it under the carpet and along the passenger side to the back.

For 94-97 s-10 blazer. $19.99 I think. You have everything else you need like radio antenna adapter and wiring harness?

I think I ran my 4 gauge wire through the radio antenna grommet also, cause it's ran down the passenger side. (Can't remember for sure.) I'm gonna redo it with 0/1 gauge so might have to just drill a hole with a step bit. Hope this helps
