I just picked up two cb antennas and i was wondering if yall could post pics of were u mounted them. plus there starting to strip a litlle bit (got em from a friend) so would putting a rubberizer on em effect reception??

WOW... there someone else out there with a CB? I use one of those magnetic ones up on my roof.

ive got a CB, i have a plate welded to my spare tire carrier, i wanted to put it on my roof but i was afraid id hit powerlines or something i probably have 3+ inches of lift at this point and my antenna is a 6ft whip

sorry about the double post, i posted there first and realized that it was in the wrong section. but i heard someone say that i could use my double whips as one for the cb and one for a scanner. could u guys possibly enlighten me on this? and possibly show me a link to a really cheap one that i oculd pick up and how to hook it up? sorry im a newb and im new to this stuff.

CB's cheapest/legalest redneck radar detectors around. LOL. I was always partial mounting on rear corner panels about even with the bumper and little forward. Looks good on the K5's not sure on a S series.
The only thing comparable I had was an '00 Dakota and I just used a magentic one.

nah due not a detector, an actual scanner. i already have a detector.

You got a 2dr or a 4 dr. If you have a 2dr u can mount it on the spare tire like some people have already said. Synergy offroad has a mount for this but that would only mount one of them. i also wouldnt mind seeing a few pictures of some s blazers with antennas on it. i plan on doing this soon to. but so far am planning on just doing one antenna on the spare tire i have a 2dr.

bump. i would really like to know if theres a way to hook up a police scanner (not radar detector) and a cb on 2 antennas and how to do it and were i can get a cheap scanner.
