Default component speaker question

i am looking to get some infinity component speakers all the way around. is there a way i can mount the separate tweeter in the A pillar moldingor would it be easier to just put them up in the dash? and is there a place to put separate tweeters in the back doors?

you would either have to get some of those gauge pillars or glass the tweeters into the pillar for that to work. I just put them in my dash, and thats how I do the majority of my customers as well, unless they want to pay for me to glass them in. Also, i wouldnt get components for the rear as well, wil mess with your head and the sound imaging/staging. just get some decent mids for the back. the infinity 6012I's are nice. what components are you looking into getting?

i mounted components in my rear doors.....i put the tweeter in the rear pillar of the door down at the bottom. but like pat said, a nice set of mids or coaxials if you really want the tweeter for the rear

Sorry for the bump, I didnt think it was quite necessary to start a new thread.
Hillbilly, I am also considering putting components in, however I am debating between CDT and DLS. Which would you choose? Also, where in your opinion is the best place to hide the amp and x-overs? I have a 98 Blazer Lt 2-door. Thank you much in advance.

crossovers go inside the door....and an amp.....well, rear cargo is the easiest, and makes the most sense since theres a good amount of breathing room.

sorry hillbilly....got here 1st
