Default Custom Sub box 01 Blazer

Hey guys there has been lots of great info on this forum, thank you all for that. I wanted to share my custom built Sub box project. I had originally just built a fairly standard down firing box but I didn't like how much room it took up. Then I decided to build one off to the side over the wheel well to take up less room. I started out by building a prototype box out of cardboard, since it made it easy to get it to fit right. Then I built the box out of mdf, sprayed it with bed liner and then painted to somewhat match the interior. I used the cargo hooks on the floor to secure the box and I made up some little brackets that fit in the slots on the right panel (meant for the cargo cover) to secure the top of the box. It turned out pretty decent. Check out the pics

Looking good! If you hadn't told me, I would have thought you bought it from crutchfield or something. Looks factory.

Looks fantastic, well done sir!

I pondered doing something like that in my 04 4 door for the longest time, but in the end I took that spot up with a storage cubby I robbed from a Bravada in the junk yard and now it holds winch and recovery gear lol.

Love the idea of it though, taking up less space in the back. I have almost NO cargo room in the back of mine with the ported box and 2 12's...
