Default Dash speakers in 2001

So what is the deal with them. I just purchase a new HU, have some 6.5 Kenwoods from my Jeep I didn't end up using and bought some Rockfords for the rear. I see that 4x6s will fit but I also saw they are only tweeters up there. So what should I replace the speakers with? I figure with everything else being new why not do the whole thing?

you can do comps. and put the tweeters there or get 4x6 speakers. plate speakers work nice there and might have a built in crossover

Depends what you want.

This is my first audio install so I was happy with 2-ways on an SQ HPF amp.

It's a LOT clearer and louder than the stock speakers off head unit, as well as 2-ways off the head unit.

They aren't as clear as components would be but they are a BIG step up from stock

I have the polk audio marine rated 2-ways, 40w rms.
