So the longer the cable the higher Gauge you should use?I didnt know that.

So the longer the cable the higher Gauge you should use?I didnt know that.
longer lengths of wire equal more resistance. To counter act the resistance, a larger wire is used.

always good to get bigger cable if you plan on upgrading in the future. get as big as you can afford.
