Audio/Video Electronics Wired up? If you have some sort of A/V modification let's hear about it here. Discussion of stock electrical problems should be done in the 'Lighting & Electrical' section.

do I need to upgrade anything for what I have?

well for about $130 you can get the ad244 that'll do 140 amps and that'd be good for a decent sized system

sundown is really good quality equipment, they are in my top 5. i can't confirm that a 130 amp alternator will put out 220 because i've never seen it tested. more amps are possible with a smaller pulley installed. i would be rather impressed to see a 130 put out 220. with a smaller pulley i would expect 150-180 max.

the ad244 usually does about 100 amps at idle i've heard from a good friend who has it on his s10. he's running about 1700 watts rms in his truck with a safari bar and lights with no problem

check ebay, auto parts stores, heck, even your junkyard will have them on later 90's 5.3L V8 motors

Damn Mack, beat me to it. My phone didn't load the rest of the posts below him asking about the 220 amp output. And I posted about the AD244 and after posting I saw the posts after that one. BTW I finally picked up a good digital multimeter so I'm gonna do some testing on sunday to see what my trucks electrical problem is.

X2 on the AD244 series alts! Takes a few mods on a 1st gen vehicle, but have heard they are bolt it on 2nd gens.
