door panel cutting

Default door panel cutting

i was wondering if anyone has cut the door panel piece that covers the front door speakers? 97 4 door blazer So the speakers can be exposed and you can see the speaker covers

Sounds like a bad plan unless you know for sure you are never going to sell the truck or you have an extra set of door panels in case you do.

well if i sell it then i will just leave the speakers in it. im not worried about that but i am worried on if i can do it right and still look good. i just dont know how to cut it or how to begin. so hopefully someone has done this before.

if u really want to do this and are not worried bout resale and all then u could use a dremel on that but u HAVE TO BE CAREFUL to make sure it doesnt get to hot and melt the plastic. but i would use the dremel and once u get it all off. use some sand paper to smooth it out. gradually go up to wet sandpaper and make it look sexy and smooooooooth. But i would not suggest this cause if u get something in the tweeter on the speaker thats done.
