Default dvd player?

Hey guys...new around here...had a couple of questions. I'mthinking about buying a2000 4x4 blazer. Was just wondering one of the flip screen dvd players will fit in place of the stock stereo. Would i have to make any mods to get it in there?? Or would it be so nice to just slide right in?? I really like the look of the blazers... I'm also interested in lowering it. I'm just trying to see what kind of money i'm gonna be spending after the initial purchase.. so any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

It will fit no problem. Off the top of my head, I know that i have put one in a 86, my 87, a 2000 and a 2004. you are good. just have to break off the little plastic ring in the dash. you will see it as soon as you pull the old radio out! (just for depth issues.)

No issues with the screen blocking the vents? That's pretty swanky...

Use your floor vents on high then, or since you can close the vents in the center, do that and use the other 2.

Nah, I'll just rig up some sort of fancy bracker, and have just the screen there, or something, and put the deck itself down where I'd normally have the ashtray... at -45, you want as much heat blowing as possible, lol
