finished the sub enclosure
well lets start by saying i built this when i had one of my old four door blazers.. when i sold it i kept the system...
now..
i have cut and refiberglassed it to fit in the 2 door here is the outcome..
the box is right at 1.5 cube feet with a audiobahn AW1206T
i need my cargo room so i like to use these i can also build these as a stealth downfire as well so the sub is not shown
this is my custome sub enclosure..
what you all think?
dont mind the pix i took them at night and also dont mind the wire that was while i was testing the sub.. i still need to rerun all the wires and hide the amp inside the side storage and ad fans to kool
it cool inside there
i will keep the post updated as more is done..
fist pic is when it was fit to a 4 door as u can see to big for the 2 door
second pic is of the fiberglass work to fit to the side panel
then the rest are finished in the 2 door

pic in the daylight they make it look better

very nice work. i am jealous of your fiberglass skills man. i need to make 2 separate boxes for my 2 12s so i can have my cargo space back.
#4
ya i thin im about to scrap this box and build up a downfire box so it will be stealth... and no sub shown
#5
if you wanna do a stealth box i would suggest getting a 10 so you can run a smaller box. Not to mention...1.5cubes seems rather large for a sealed 12" enclosure.
#6
I like that a lot. I need to make something better than what I have
#7
12" subwoofer with dual 4-ohm voice coils
aluminum woofer cone with 2" foam surround
non-resonant cast aluminum basket with polished chrome plating
7-1/2 pound magnet
frequency response: 20-500 Hz
power range: 50-1,100 watts RMS (550 watts per coil)
peak power handling: 2,200 watts
sensitivity: 96.4 dB
top-mount depth: 7"
sealed box volume: 0.5 to 1.25 cubic feet
the box was ment for a different sub... but i ended up blowing it b4 it made it into the box.
so this box is a little to big for the sub in it now but ad some stuffing and it all works out to the size i needed..

ohhh and I wanted to ask how do you have that secured? I built and amp rack and I haven't secured mine because I'm not sure the best rout to go. my rack is very similar to your box
