well i got metered today at a local shop and did a 145.7 legal. Not to bad for 2 15" MD Napalms on 1000 watts. Should be in the low 50's when the new amp comes in since ill be putting 7k watts to the subs lol.

 

Slightly louder than the JL's you had I bet. TL right? What amp will be pushing 7K?

When are you getting the amp? What are your box specs? Loudest I've heard was a 144 capable system off 1200 watts on an 18" SX. That was loud and I would be happy with that. I'm still planning out what I want to do.

 

running a ported box tuned at 40hz. with subs facing up as well as port. im not sure when the amps coming...its gotta come directly from soundstream

i was thinking of trying a box subs up and port up but i dunno....right now i got subs up port back tuned @ 35hz with 2 15's and 1200 watts and the best it can do is a 145.3. i think it might just be the subs but i dunno

i cant wait to get my new stuff and try for that 50 mark too. what kinda of electrical system you got?? i'm getting a great deal on 2 rf power t3000's so im just gonna use them and i should be getting my 220 amp ohio gen alt soon. as well as 3 stinger 2150 batterys. I wanna do like 6 runs of 1/0 ga wire but i can't find anyone to make me some buss bars..

 

Loud-01: Is that the largest alt you can get from Ohio gen, or is the increase in price too much for something larger? I've yet to get a quote from any alt companies yet. Looking for something at least 250-300 amps, but something that will charge decently at idle (probably 800rpm).

 

Excessive Amperage quoted me $475 for a 300amp alt.
