Got my MP3 player
Got my nice little MP3 player mounted, kind a sorta...
But now I've got a problem... When listening to the MP3 player, sound is a whole lot quieter than it is with CD's... Even with the volume on the mp3 player cranked to the max...
Is there anything I can do to bring back the volume, without adjusting the gains on the amps? or am I totally hooped on that one? lol

It's wired in to the RCA input cables I have for my Alpine...
I didn't go the FM modulator route, because all the ones I've heard don't seem to have quite as good SQ as a direct connection does...
Maybe I can find a 1 watt amplifier somewhere, lol

Well, I found what can probably help me... Only they don't have a way for me to register as a member because I can't choose my province... So if anyone can find something like this for me, that's availiable to Canada...
It'd help me a lot, especially since I don't use CD's anymore...
I'll let y'all know if I find one before anyone else does, lol

Alpine CDA-9831
My friends ipod was a lot quieter than CD as well... The only thing that's come anywhere near the volume is a friends DVD player...
The headphone power output isn't high enough for the RCA's I think...
It's not so much a problem... but a major annoyance, It's about 75 - 80% of CD volume...

I had an iPod interface installed, it took the place of my stock 5 disc changerbefore I upgraded my system.
Prior to that I used the awful cassette adapter, the sound quality wasn't too bad much louder than a CD, but an interface is the way to go, no wires no fuss.

That's work great... If I had an iPod... lol, best I can hope for is to find a line driver, or maybe Alpine will come out with a iPod style control device for my Gigabeat...
Does your radio have any settings for IPOD? I had the same problem with my mp3 player and it turned out that on my pioneer radio there was a setting to make the music play louder. I forget the name of the setting.
