You can get an FM transmitter pretty cheap. You plug one end into the cigarette lighter and the other into the headphone jack on the mp3 player. It works by tuning the stereo to an FM station an the same channel on the transmitter.

Fm transmitters are garbage... do this..

Step one
Buy a Headunit that offers a rca input... the white and red inputs...
Or see if your headunit has one

Step two
Buy a cheap rca-to-headphone jack... like 4-5 bucks at walmart...

Step three
plug it in...

step four
enjoy....

This was my setup in my last car and it worked much better and for 5 bucks... you cant get a better one.... It works as well as the integrated ones just without all the bells and whistles...

Ah, ok thanks. I've been looking at a cheap mp3/cell mount on eBay for $5, I can mount my player and run the cables behind the dash to keep things clean? Id' like a fancy way to display it so I don't have wires all over. Any ideas?
