Default Got a new amp

Well my JL slash 300/4 finally started to go out on me, so decided to replace it with the new JL Audio XD 400/4 amp. Its insane how small this amp is, dimensions are only 8.52 in. x 7.09 in. x 2.05 and it blows the slash out of the water. Its like night and day.

look at the size difference between the slash and the xd on top. That xd is 600/1.

This is what i replaced (one on right)

Yea. Its amazing how small amps are getting. I like how clean your set up is, although the new amp is gonna through it off a bit. Cuz the two are gonna be different and all. But still really clean!

awesome, thats a pretty good price for the power/reliability/name of the amp. I'm a JL guy and just need to get my amps back (had to sell them to help my mom out with some money problems a while back)

I decided to sell the 500/1 slash and pickup the XD 600/1. We hooked one up to the truck last night at the shop and it really makes the w3's pound a hell of alot harder.

yep the seats still fold down and everything. Not like i can carry much being that the box and panels are bolted down. So removal takes some time.

heres the pic of it installed.

Like I said before the box covers the amps and everything is out of sight.
