Default GOT A NEW BLAZER 2DR

hey guys, i just bought myself a 98 blazer 2dr zr2......with in a week ill b puting in my whole stereo(which is all in my sig so check it out)....with wats in my sig i hit a 145 on the TL in a 4dr saab hatchback....on top of evertting in my sig i will b puting the optima in the trunk, peel and seal the back of the truck, and maybe another 1000/1 and a HO alt.......if u guys would like i will take pix of the install 2 post...like putin int he peel and seal and wen im putin the doors speakers in and everything....sence i hit a 145 in that saab, with another 1000/1 and a HO alt i wud like to be in the 148.5 range......but that all depends on if a saab hatch is better then a blazer for spl

nice setup! blazers are very good in spl applications. fyi blazers have 6.5" stock door speakers, and I noticed your running 5.25. I'm also running JL's in the doors and they sound very nice!

yup thats me on roe......ne ideas on how to make my 5.25s fit?...blazers have 6x9s in the back right? wat shud i do about how i have 4 jl speakers and a 4 ch amp but blazers have 6 stock speakers right?....shud i disconet the 2 on the dash?

Ditch the dash speakers, You will notice a difference in your numbers with the blazer. I believe the resonant frequency of these things is around 44 hz, so plan wisely.

hey guys...got everthing in...ill get pix later....the box was gunna b only like 4in from the bac gate so i decided to face them up instead....from wat i can tell it seems the loudest when playing 45hz but im not sure...i can do a small hair trick with it...i did a little one with the ac on and the both windows down.....but my subs barely move.. i no i have only 1 1000//1 for 2 12w7s but i wud think they wud move more then that....neway..just tell me wat u guys think and which way to face the subs and ne tips for tuning my amp...and ill post vids later today..thanx

is ur box ported?? id say face them up anyway....you will get ur best sound. if ur trying to get louder put a 1000/1 to each sub but it sound like a nice setup....i like JL but im starting to move away from them b/c i wanna get louder lol.
